Spanien im 17. Jahrhundert: Die draufgängerische Zenabel führt eine Gruppe von hübschen Rebellinnen an. Die mutige Kämpferin erfährt, dass sie in Wirklichkeit von adeliger Abstammung ist. Der niederträchtige Fürst Don Alfonso hat (vor Jahren) ihren Vater kaltblütig ermordet, um die Herrschaft an sich zu reißen. Nun plant Don Alfonso das jährliche Jungfrauenfest, bei dem die schönsten Mädchen des Landes zum Schloss gebracht und dem Fürsten und seinen Getreuen gefügig gemacht werden. Mit vollem Körpereinsatz schmuggelt sich Zenabel mit ihren rauflustigen Gespielinnen unter die Jungfrauen und nimmt mit Hilfe eines Zauberers den Kampf um ihr rechtmäßiges Erbe auf.
